I started going to them when I found out at least 3 of my coworkers go to them and one of them knows Scott and his family personally. It is conveniently across the street from my office, so I can drop it off and pick it up when it is ready.  I've been going to them for almost 3 or 4 years now.  It is a nice family owned business.  Scott, his father, and Lauren are very friendly, courteous, and honest and when it comes to the maintenance and care of my car.  Scott even helps find good deals when it comes to the changing of my tires.  I've had him change my tires twice already and both times, I've been able to get a special rebate.  I will continue to see them for my maintenance needs. - Sam I. Phenominal mechanic. I have been looking high and low for a decent mechanic, and CCC is that shop. Our transmission went out, so we had it towed to CCC since we had taken our vehicles there for oil/filter changes. The mechanic got back to us within a day that we would need a new transmission. I was skeptical, and contacted another recommended transmission shop who not only confirmed what CCC had told us, but also vouched that we had a fair, honest, and skilled mechanic working on our car. They even went as far as to contact Nissan to determine if there was an extended warranty on the transmission as CCC knew the Nissan CVT transmissions were prone to early failure. Although the work was not cheap, we confirmed with several resources that CCC had given us a fair rate, and the bill was dead on with the quote (i.e., no hidden charges). They provided us with all the information we would need to file our complaint to Nissan for a transmission that went out at 50k miles (2011 Sentra). I live in DC and drive here to get my car serviced because Scott is totally competent and honest.  He always manages to fit me in with short notice. And from front desk staff to the mechanics, everyone provides excellent service!  Scott hired a mechanic from Lexus who services my car, so I feel like I am getting dealership service or better without paying dealership prices!  It's also great to have a comfortable waiting area with TV and wifi for those times when I wait for service. I've been meaning to write this review for a while. This crew fixed a seemingly "impossible" problem I had with my car last year to help get my emissions to pass after I had been throug the ringer on MULTIPLE occasions with the Exxon at Kings Park shopping center down the street, leaving me with a slew of tickets for expired tags while they promised to fix my problem after I would drive it all over fairfax so it could register some BS reader....long story....nutshell, don't go there, come here.
Capital Car Care diagnosed my problem same day and had it fixed the next! The crew is super nice and honest. My car is a 99' Saturn and they've helped keep my baby in shape and I've been coming back for all my car needs ever since they basically saved me from the agony I was put through with Exxon. Took my Subaru to a dealer because of a "rattle." They wrote me and estimate of almost $600 to repair it. Then took it to Capital Car Care. Scott put the car up on a lift and showed me that the rattle was being caused by a missing bolt that had rusted and fallen out...then replaced it for free. No more trips to the dealer for me! - Bob B.
